Ana´s review of keane´s gig


Hi there!!
i´m very happy, i think anyone can imagine how im feeling... so i´m going to write how was my trip to Oporto and what i thought of the gig, and everyting else.

i woke up in the morning of 3rd August wondering if the gig was real, i couldn´t believe that there were only a few hours until the gig. I finally was going to see and listen them. It was my dream coming truth. I just left my house at 3pm, and me and my parents left my sister in my grandfather´s house. The trip was calm and fast, I went reading Harry Potter, almost half of the book i read in the car, and i talked with a friend by sms too. When we arrived to Oporto we went to the hotel to leave the things, the hotel was called Mercure, I already have been there with my grandfather. After that i said to my parents that i wanted to go to the "Queimódromo" as soon as possible...I wanted to be there to meet paty, to be closer to them...

When we arrived there i couldnt believe what i was seeing, oh god, there was the biggest line i´ve ever seen...fortunality i didnt need to be there cause my father payed to put the car in the park, so the line was smaller. When i entered, at 8pm or more, i called paty, and we met. I was so nervous, I just could think if he was going to look at me, if i was going to have the honour to be touched by him, if he was going to notice my presence...

Ez special started and I, who normally like to listen to them, and who even like some of their songs, just could pray for one of them to break a leg and go away....lool
I think they were not too bad, but of course, compared to keane they´re nothing.
When Ez Special finally finished, keane had delayed almost half an hour, but when they had appeared I almost died...Oh my God I finally was seeing them,and they started with The Iron Sea...well you already know the order of the songs if you read paty´s text so... i´m just going to tell what i felt in some musics...
The Iron Sea- bacause was the first i was complety happy and at the same time i couldn´t believe that was real. Even now, I can´t.
Everybody´s Changing- this is a song that everybody knows, and everyone was singing along with them, it was beautiful
Put It Behind You/Bend and Break- these songs are more "moved" and i love the 2nd one.
Try Again- this song is beautiful, i think Tom sang this music with a lot of emotion, it was really awsome...now i like this song a lot more than before.
Your Eyes Open/ The Frog Prince/ Hamburg Song/ Fly To Me- these songs were sang in the "passerelle", they were so close, and at the same time so far... but i loved when they were there... Tom is even more beautiful in reality than in the photos...i couldn´t see anyone else, but Tom...I was all the time looking at him :D
Leaving So Soon/This Is The Last Time/A Bad Dream/Somewhere Only We Know/ Is It Any Wonder?/ Broken Toy- all these songs are beautiful, i love the 1st and 3rd ones, was wonderful to listen them, and i loved the poem too( the poem appeared in the "ecrã"/poster/"placar"(i dont know how to say =S) right before the song A Bad Dream)
Atlantic/Crystal Ball/Bedshaped- before they played these songs they get out of the stage, possibly to drink some water and to rest, and i almost thought that that had been the end...but it wasn´t. They played these songs and when they left again, i waited some time, maybe they could return...but they didnt...=(

I loved the gig, it was the best thing that could happen in my whole life...
I´m going to remember this moment for ever...
